The Podium Institute and Cobalt Health have been working closely together since 2025 on the first fully independent multimodal investigation into concussion in rugby, using a mobile MRI scanner. Cobalt Health’s Philips mobile MRI imaging scanner is used to assess rugby players on site, supporting more accurate and timely concussion diagnosis.
