This page serves as a comprehensive resource hub, providing guidance on various aspects of engagement. In May 2024, the Podium Institute partnered with Dr. Carinne Piekema from the Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging (WIN) to support its doctoral students and researchers in refining their communication skills and gaining a deeper understanding of community and public engagement.
To foster a strong culture of engagement, the Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging (WIN) launched the Engagement Ambassadors programme in 2017, providing researchers with valuable opportunities to connect with diverse audiences. Through this initiative, participants receive formal training in public, patient, and policy engagement, along with hands-on experience to refine their communication skills.

The Podium Institute is committed to inspiring the next generation of students, scientists, and athletes through innovative, data-driven science, where injury prevention is one our primary goals. A few times each year, we open our doors to Year 12 students and partnering organisations, offering an inside look at the breadth of the work we do.
