Bio
I hold a Bachelor of Medicine degree from Sichuan University and an MPhil in Health Data Science from the University of Cambridge. Before joining Podium, I worked as a Medical Statistician at the University of Oxford, where I developed predictive models to identify early risk of severe maternal morbidity.
Research Project
My current research investigates the early detection of cardiac risk in athletes through the integration of wearable technologies. My work focuses on developing multimodal, interpretable AI models capable of detecting subtle and transient early-warning signatures that current assessments often miss. The goal is to improve risk-stratification accuracy, minimise false positives, and provide timely, actionable insights to support preventive cardiovascular care in athletic populations.
